Our attorney just spoke to USCIS and apparently things are REALLY delayed at Vermont. They are just now working on May 2012 filers, and have said it will be around 40 more days until our filed is reviewed :crying: Add that to the NVC wait time and he said we are looking at another 3-6 months from right now....so basically almost a year after filing. I'm absolutely heartbroken, it's just so unfair to have to wait so long when you do things the right way. Being pregnant with our first child makes it that much harder :(

I know what you are going through :( except I'm due march 5, so I have 5 weeks left and there was no way in the world I was giving birth in palestine. I saw the hospitals there and it made me sick. I spent the last 2 months there and came back to the US at 30 weeks pregnant last week of Dec. It was the hardest thing to leave my husband in that dump of a place that israel runied. Your paper must have gotten lost because not only did I get the email and text message, the paper showed up about 10 days later. I hate that my husband will not be next to me or see our daughter's first few months of life but he wanted her born in US...he told me it was his wish that she will never have to endure any immigration or anyone questioning her citizenship. And, even if I had her in Palestine, it's impossible for him to get "permission" to go to the US embassy because it's in Jerusalem and at the moment Israel is not allowing palestinians to enter. so to get her birth registered would have been really difficult :( be lucky you are in the UK and having a baby....

also, I did try to expedite our case and I have yet to hear anything....but you got married in 2007? at least you will get the 10 year residence card right away that is a plus ;)

I'm so sorry to hear you are in the same boat. I am really trying to just get on with it and be positive...I know military families go through this all the time so I have to be grateful that we are both healthy and safe, just in different countries. Sounds like you made the right choice to fly back to the USA, however hard it is. The 10 year residence card is definitely a small bonus in all of this

Thanks for your support, and try to stay positive and strong for your hubby and little one. (L) You are a super Mamma!!

thanks!! that's what I tell myself also, about the military wives...it could be worse..at least I have good insurance here so if anything happens to her she would be well taken care of, that is something else I couldn't depend on in Palestine plus I have all my family here as support. I know it's the right decision just difficult...but have your husband keep checking on your status...I just started calling everyday and I hear different things !!!!

And looking at the trend chart, In july they had 56,771 Imm Rel I-130's pending.

Completions: Jul, 7171 Aug, 7423. Sep, 6674. Oct, 5754. Nov, 4840. And assuming they kept some what the same speed - holidays in Dec they maybe completed 9000 applications in Dec & January. So there's still about 16000 applications left. So at this pace we can expect to hear from VSC somewhere around april :(

And I seriously hope I got something wrong looking at the graph and it is a shorter time in reality.

Unfortunately, April time frame is what I estimate as well. At this rate, I will probably miss our first year marriage anniversary in July.

Thanks a lot Vermont.

I've been really annoying to them lately and calling everyday...on tuesday the girl said would submit a service request but csc had until feb 13 to look at it and give me an answer, could be sooner she said.I basically wanted to know if theyt got my faxed drs notes and no one can answer that..yesterday they said no one has looked at my case yet...and i told her I knew people thar applied after me and already got approved so why am I still waiting? she said it does not go by order received. I asked if it was because my husband had been in the US before and she said did he enter illegally? I said no he had a visa and he left (however I didn't say he overstayed, but would that seriously be an issue at this point? but he left on his own, no deportation or anything)...

anyways i'll call later

Can someone plz explain me what is the NOA1 NOA2 im confused. .thank u

Notice of Action 1 or NOA1 is referring to USCIS texting/emailing/mailing you notice that they have received your petition.

Notice of Action 2 or NOA2, when stated on VJ, is referring to the notice of approval of the I-130 petition.

Keep in mind that those are VJ specific terms. If you were to use those terms when speaking with USCIS, the person you would be speaking with would not know what you are talking about.

Notice of Action 1 or NOA1 is referring to USCIS texting/emailing/mailing you notice that they have received your petition.

Notice of Action 2 or NOA2, when stated on VJ, is referring to the notice of approval of the I-130 petition.

Correct, although an NOA2 can also be a denial notice (which is why it's better to say notice of adjudication decision).
