This probably won't be much of a condolence to most, but the processing times on the USCIS website have been updated. VSC is at July 2nd, and CSC is at July 5th. Fingers crossed for some more approval

My husband's interview is in a little under 3 weeks. If you haven't gotten your congressperson involved, you really should do it now.

Oh yes, End of March I contacted my congressman they got back to me saying if I don't hear anything after 60 days call back. ok, After that I contacted my senator by the time they responded it was May 1st and they said call back if no NOA2 after 45 days. So I have already done my second calls to both last week. Now my case says it has been forwarded to my local city. ####### ??!! seriously? my local office (Chicago) is an average of 5 months.

talk about not fair :( I can't understand why some people apply after me are already done with nvc and I'm still waiting everyday. I watch my status like a hawk :(

I don't think that's right. Your case shouldn't have been forwarded to your local field office unless you filed after August 15, 2012, which you obviously didn't. Call your local office and make an infopass so you can go in and request information on your casefile to make absolutely sure it's there or not. If it is, you can get more specific help, and if it's not, you can contact your congressman again and give them more info so that they can help you better.

Really? so before August my case should have just been approved from CSC?

this has been the worst experience ever...almost a year of waiting for this stupid paper.

No, that's what oopartiv meant. Applicants who filed at VSC after August 15, 2012 had their applications forwarded to local offices. You were a July applicant whose paperwork went to CSC, so you wouldn't fall into this category anyway. However, you are well beyond any posted timelines for approval. Since your latest congressional contact told you that your applications was sent to your local field office, you need to make an Infopass appointment and go to that field office, speak with someone in person, and find out the status of your application (i.e. make sure it hasn't gotten lost behind someone's desk). This would also be a good time to look over your original application package and bring along any evidence that may have been lacking so it can be added right away.

you may want to schedule an infopass.. you are outside of normal processing timelines

infopass appointments do nothing, just a waist of time. I've had several. congressman and senator involved but just can't get this approved :(
