My in-laws received this email for their cases today. From the VJ Wiki electronic processing page, we were expecting all docs to be sent to NVCGuangzhou@state.gov. This e-mail tells us that all correspondence goes to NVCElectronic@state.gov.

Is this something new or has the VJ site just not updated?

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing

Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received yourcorrespondence.

This case is now enrolled in the ElectronicProcessing Program.

The additional email addresses submitted with theenrollment email were

added to our records.

Please note that all forms and documents that werequest and require in

the future must be scanned copies of theoriginals. The applicant must

present all original forms and documents to theconsular officer at

their visa interview. Failure to present therequired originals at the

visa interview will result in a denial or delay inobtaining a visa for

the sponsored applicant.

This correspondence is also to notify you that theprincipal applicant's

case number was changed. The new case numberstarts with GZO (instead of

GUZ) and is followed by a new set of ten numbers. This change was made

to identify the case for both the NVC and the U.S.Consulate General in

Guangzhou, China as participating in the OptionalElectronic Processing

Program.

Please refer to the case number given below in allfuture correspondence

with the NVC and the U.S. Consulate General inGuangzhou.

We received the principal applicant's DS-3032(Choice of Address and

Agent) form designating an address and agent. Instructions for paying

the immigrant visa application processing fee andall future

correspondence will be sent to the agent at theaddress selected on the

DS-3032.

For more information regarding the immigrant visaapplication fee or for

answers to frequently asked questions, pleasevisit the following

website:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3904.html

IMPORTANT:

Do not let more than one year pass withoutcontacting the NVC concerning

this visa petition. If a period of one year passesfrom the last date of

contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with theNVC, all submitted fees

and documents expire. If this occurs, the feesmust be paid again and

documents must be resubmitted in order to continuethe immigration

process.

As this case is processing electronically, allforms and documents must

be sent via email as scanned attachments to NVCElectronic@state.gov .

Sending physical documents to the NVC will delaythe processing of your

case.

Yes, but it's confusing.

Under

"EMail from NVC"

"Successful enrollment GUZ"

The quoted e-mail has incorrect information.

Thanks.

Do we still need the P3 supplemental? I thought it was no longer used.

Cool ! I'll change it soonish, using yer email as the drop-in replacement.

Obviously these things change over time, so if you study the history on that page, you can see the dates when I made the edits. It was correct 'at the time' I captured that email, but I'm happy to change it todayish.

FWIW, 'HOW TO OPT IN' section is absolutely current :D

OK LA - updated in the wiki - Thanks for the email thingie !

I've been meaning to update it for some time.

re: GUZ IV P3 Supplemental being evil, wicked, mean and nasty -

well, it's not pdf form fillable. IIRC, fooforah (sp ? ) made a pdf form fillable version of it.

When you get to the other place, tell BuckyBob I said hullo :D
