First with utmost happiness i want to inform that finally i got the date of my Naturalization Oath Ceremony. It will be a great moment to become a proud USA CITIZEN.

I need a little help about the FORM N-445, NOTICE OF NATURALIZATION OATH CEREMONY

You must bring the following with u.

4. Any other Immigration documents you may have in your possession. (What documents are those? )

Looking forward for your kind responses from those who are naturalized recently and became a US Citizen.

When I was naturalized, I had to bring in my Re-entry permit book (I forgot what it's called, since it's been so long) and green card. The re-entry permit is similar to a passport, but since I was just a Legal Resident, I couldn't get a passport. At the time, it was white. Make sure you bring your green card. They will collect those, I believe. You will be given a U.S. Naturalization certificate and no longer need your green card.

no other documents are needed except for your greencard.. i didn't bring any and they never asked.. you will sign in and they will take your greencard away.. you get to grab a bunch of "swag" (small flag, welcome letter from the president, passport application, voter registration form.. among other things).. then the very last of your long wait begins.. at the start of the ceremony ( which will be treated as a judicial court ), rep from uscis will request the judge of your intent to become us citizens.. all the countries which is represented will be called and you get to stand up and be acknowledged.. you take your oath of allegiance, then you pat yourself on the back (you are now, a citizen of the us of a).. a short video from pres. obama follows welcoming you to your new country and as a fellow citizen.. a pep talk from the presiding judge, and you are done.. there might be a peptalk also from an agency which sponsored the event.. in my case it was the passport services.. you then leave your seat in an orderly manner and you line up again for the last time to get your naturalization certificate making sure you have the correct name and you turn in your n-445.. pat yourself again in the back as you exit the door to be reunited with your loved ones.. you've made it!!!

My interview was on one day before the independence day of america 2012, so it took 70 days to get date of Oath Ceremony.

My interview was nice, the immigration officer ask few question about the documents we submitted for naturalization so its better u keep one copy of papers u submitted to the uscis. I was well prepared for the test so i answered the first six questions straight and then had to read and write one sentence she asked me, and congratulate me for the approval.

My Oath ceremony will be same place where i had my interview in memphis. Hope i answer your questions

Wooh that's a long time, I did biometric on 8/17/12 and thy had about 200 people taking the oath that morning. Guests were not allowed in during swearing, they kept them outside the building! Hopefully you will have less people, enjoy the ceremony and thank you for responding. My interview is Oct 1st

Memphis has been very fast for me. I am not sure but on that day, they did not allow guests. Sometimes they move the ceremony to FedEx Forum or that mega church, then they let guests in. I did not see anyone taking pictures but I left before they finished since I was doing biometrics

I had conversation with the guy who also had his oath ceremony at memphis and he told me that guests were allowed to go in but at the last whereas u told me they were not allowed, i feel its the big moment for us and our family and they should be a part of this auspicious moment and i want that my family member be there on this special moment for me.

cameras and videos are okay.. a couple who were taking the oath were video taping themselves on their iphones.. it would be wise thought to put your phone on vibrate.. you don't want that thing going off during the ceremony.. as for the number of guests you can bring, bring the whole troop if you want.. uscis knows this is a special event for you and your family, i doubt they will restrict the number of people you can bring.. you will be separated anyway from them, at least we were.. we were at the floor and all our guest were at the balcony/gallery.. thank god for texts..
