NVC Received 08/13 No Invoice Yet

K1 has other intake at the IV Unit, NVC never handles scheduling for a K-1 visa; it's all on the IV Unit to schedule a K-1 visa, not NVC.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

i think K1 visas skip NVC process and go directly to consulate.

I know that dear that K1's go directly to embassy for interview slots. What I am asking is why does it seem no matter when they get complete and to embassy there is always a slot for them. Every embassy I have seen (and trust me a few of us are watching very closely) . You call NVC they say the embassy is booked for this month or that month but as soon as a K1 gets a case # and off to embassy they either get interview slot or they are blessed to pick their own date.

So I am just curious. even with NVC plotting our interviews they still have to consult with the embassy, the embassy says "we have this date and this date" I know K1's and CR1/IR1's are all in line together at ALL embassies. So just would like to know why people are sitting here since mid July waiting (3 different embassies I might add) for a IR1/CR1 interview and K1's coming to embassy just in the last 2 weeks have jumped in line and got an interview. Just curious.

My Son's case was received by NVC on 08/13, 08/24 i got Case#, but no Invlice Yet. Do we have any Any NVC cases similar to this so i have idea when i will get Invoice?

They usually don't give the receipt or invoice but the good thing you got your case number... Good Luck

Today NVC payment portal is not allowing login and display message that "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."

earlier it used to take inside and displayed "No Invoice", is it usual/expected?
