Our RFE from CSC took 5 or 6 days, at least. Yours might take 7 or 8. Don't panic yet. :)

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

I agree....patience is definately required with this process. However, as I'm sure others will agree, if there were some sort of fairness to this process then there wouldn't be this need for reminders to be patient. I guess this is what sticks in my throat (old southern saying)...how some gc's are approved in such a short time and others sit and wait...and wait...and wait. If everyone goes through namecheck, then the process for that should be the same amount of time unless something definate about that name comes up.

Karen, I thought you worded this exactly right...it's exactly how I feel. I have no problem with waiting for the GC after all I'm finally with my husband and that is worth so much to me, but it's the fact that some people whiz through and others do not. It's the fact that we get given little to no information on the hold up and told "not to compare cases" which is easier said than done really. Most of all I hate the fact that my paperwork was rotting away in a vault somewhere when it was supposed to be sent to CSC and it took me 5 months to finally get it sent out to CSC where it should have been back in September. Ah well, I got touched on Saturday so maybe I might have some action!

Hi guys..thank you for the answer..today i received the RFE in the mail and it said that i need to send marriage certificate that i already sent before. This is the second time they asking info that I already sent..but oh well theres nothing that i can do, so i think i'm gonna go to court house tommorow to get the copy of marriage certificate and then send it to them. Hope U guys get approval soon..

Iv'e been into the same situation as before, out of patient what's went wrong. Because I knew CSC transfered means quick approvals. I've been in depressed mood also, more often affected my relationship with my husband. 4-6 months for me is not a quick approvals to me, I've been seeing alot of approvals 3-6 weeks quickier. Add the fact that my EAD is nowhere to found, being promised I've been approved but there's NO EAD card been given to me. Then I got approved after 3-4 times 2hrs drive back and fort for an Infopass Appointments that are not very helpful staff from ATL area. Then the depression come back again, when my son case being pending for 2 months, even you tried to complete everything from the start.

I didn't paste such message to compare, or annoyed anyone hence ...... I've been on that situation and I've always reading posts in CSC thread because I was been a regular member here. And I may say that Katie_UK is right .. before I never been think of that I should be happy being here with my husband and kids already together, than worrying myself and make things affected my relationship with my husband because of my worryness or out of control moods being annoyed or irritated in such waitings and "no informations" given for a big WHY?

*sigh* I don't know...are you for certain that's what happens? I'm sorry if this bothered you...but we are a little frustrated. Joel will have to reapply for EAD as others on here have had to do. We'll do it, we have no choice in the matter.

I thought that for one's application to be transferred to CSC that meant the case was pretty straightforward and it was meant to "speed up the process". Wouldn't it make more sense to keep those applications for interviews IF a name hit occurs rather than transferring it? That's what is so confusing and frustrating. I'm sorry, but we can't help how we feel about this. I can only imagine how those who have been waiting far longer than us might be feeling right now.
