Hi all, Still nothing for me to update you about unfortunately. It seems my DO at St. Louis said he'd send my file off to CSC where it's supposed to have been, but still have not received the email saying it is now pending at CSC. In fact for the past almost 6 months my case status says it's being transfered to another office for processing. We shall see if my case makes it to CSC this time.

This whole thing is actually starting to p*ss me off to be honest. I've been given the run around about my case, I've heard so many mis-info line people tell me that my case was at CSC and the whole time it was stuck somewhere cos someone forgot to send it out. And to think they're gonna raise the prices soon *to improve efficiency* ha, they're just a money making machine and could not care less about the people behind paperwork. I know I only filed late july with an NOA of 8 August so it's still early days but it's starting to annoy me that people are whizzing past and i'm 4th from the top of the transfer list.

I get asked all the time by people i work with if I like living here, and lately I've really had to stop and think, well do I? I come from a country in my opinion just as good as the USA and the only reason I moved here was for my husband ( after all he lived in England a long time and wanted to come "home") so sometimes I wonder why we didn't just stay in England.

KaffyKat: I'm glad they did a service request on yours and your daughters case, hopefully you should get some answers. I had a service request done and they sent me a letter saying to make an infopass. I then found out my case was never actually sent out to CSC but will now be sent- 5 months later. I HOPE you get approved soon, you've been waiting just a week longer than me!!

Heya Katie, chin up!!

No news, is good news, so they say. Well except in the case of the USCIS, if you've got no news then you need to jump on their a$$es by the looks. Well I know exactly where you are coming from and hope that I have been getting told the right thing when I have rung to check on things. Hopefully you will start seeing some action on your case and they are going to expedite it due to their error. :thumbs: Me, well, I just wanna be touched or something at least. :blush:

I have been reading an interesting post in the K1 forum, a former AO is now going through the process, wonder if he will get the run around that some of us have? Will be interesting to watch his timeline. But, the good thing, he seems a friendly enough person and has been giving out all kinds of information about how the system works, or is supposed to anyways. Go have a look, he's already got 10 pages up and only started it last night, certainly a popular fellow.

There is no doubt that the UK is as good as the USA, if not better! And the UK immigration system (at least in terms of efficiency) is a thousand times better than the US system...I say that from experience!

hi there

although i havent posted in here for ages i still come in and read your posts....i do wish so often that all of you that have been waiting for a very long time would get approved...

although we were one of those that got approved quickly i do feel you frustrations with all of this...keep your chins up and think positive...

i really do not understand this name check hold up when we give all our relevant information over with our police checks ...its only a name change in surname for some...wonder how much it would be out of our pockets to do our own police checks for our spouses and us within the states...if that would help it go along more smoothly...

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

I'm sorry, but there is no way the UK immigration system is better than any! It has to be one of the worst. It's almost an open door policy to any country that's first language is not english!

I came back from visiting the U.S. last year and I actually stepped over the taped line...the woman told me to step back past the line, only to call me back immediately! POWER TRIP! What's she gonna do?! Ban me from entering my own country?! It's a joke!

My comment was not on British immigration POLICIES, I praised the UK Immigration system for the speed at which they process *most* applications including Settlement due to marriage.

But I completely agree with you on the policies part, educated and technically skilled people find it way more difficult to come to UK than those who can't even speak English!

Hi all! I got touched today on my case, although the status has stayed the same, still says it was transferred on Sept 14 2006 but hopefully the touch is a sign of progress.

Hi Guys, I got email from CRIS said that they sent RFE at feb 20 but its not here yet. I'm kinda worry about it cos the last time i got RFE from Lee summit its only takes 2 days to get the letter. So its anyone have same experience like me?

Hi Guys, I got email from CRIS said that they sent RFE at feb 20 but its not here yet. I'm kinda worry about it cos the last time i got RFE from Lee summit its only takes 2 days to get the letter. So its anyone have same experience like me?

No need to worry yet, you need to give them some more time for it to reach you. They say to wait 30 days before asking that they resend any notices (someone once told me 14 days but I haven't found documentation of that yet, you might want to check). Either way it's only been 6 days so no need to panic yet :) Two days might be a record!
