Online I noticed that my case is at the Missouri Service Center. Is that where they all go then later they get trasferred? I am really getting confused now. :blink:

Our online status said Missouri Service Center as well .." If " your case is one of the cases that gets transfered to CSC you will get an email ( if you have it set up to get emails from USCIS ) and you may or may not also get a letter from CSC saying they have your case.

My EAD had not been touched since 10/23/06!! We made an InfoPass appointment to see why the EAD wasnt approved. They told us that since our reply to the RFE (on I-485) was received on Nov 30, thats when the 90 day countdown begins...so I should get the EAD by the end of Feb 07.

Finally the EAD got touched on 02/14/07 and 02/15/07 - I was so happy.

Then the I-485 got touched too on 02/15/07 - saying another RFE is on the way :bonk::bonk::bonk:

Now I am thinking: 1) Is this going to delay my EAD AGAIN?? Is that why they were touching my EAD to put it back in suspense until we return the RFE??

and 2) What could the RFE be for? Vaccination Supplement since we did not submit the I-693A (only submitted a list of vaccinations that was given by the doctors in London)? or something related to the I-864 again?

I am so upset...

(by the way, thanks kaffy for keeping the lists updated)

O my goodness, I hope not. I would be so pissed, they should take the time to be sure and ask for everything they need in that first RFE (or make their stupid instructions more clear on exactly what the heck they want, they shouldn't say that you "may" send three years tax returns with I864 when they really want 3, even though the one and employer letter and so forth CLEARLY prove you make enough money as was in our case). Your EAD getting delayed a total of 180 days because they didn't check your case thoroughly the first time is unacceptable. I mean, I understand the first check might miss something, but you shouldn't be penalized!

lucy and bebe only some people get transfer to california service center i guess we dont know why, but the case gets to the MO CENTER first then it gets transfer to your local center maybe you might get send to csc good luck.

Hi Folks! So a lil update from me for anyone interested in my infopass appointments.....today I returned to the St. Louis DO on the advise of my DO officer from last weeks appointment, and unfortunately it wasn't the good news I had been hoping for. I'm not a pessimistic person by nature, in fact I've alwasy been very bubbly, and when people here said my news last week was sure to mean an approval I was quick to not get my hopes up, and rightly so it appeared! Unfortunately California never received my case. My case was sent to CSC on 14th Septmeber, but actually stayed in Lee's Summit the whole time until last week when my IO at the infopass appt asked for it to be sent to her. I saw my file in all it's glory, it must be about 2 inchs thick, and was told by a different immigration officer that he was now going to send it to CSC. I asked him if it was supposed to be in CSC already and showed him my NOA saying it was there, and he basically avoided my question by saying he's sending it to them and hopefully I won't get an interview. OH well we'll see what happens.... I'm not even gonna bother now with worrying about CSC and AOS cos I've wasted 5 months worrying over whether my file even made it to CSC and now I know even though it had been "transferred" it actually in reality had just been filed away. It makes me not even interested in living here (I know, I sound so dramatic, but it makes my life feel so like rubbish when they can just "forget my file"- sorry this is so whiney, it's late I've been worked all day at my two jobs and had a crappy infopass appt so I'm just being a moany cow!)

Anyway hopefully my case will now make it to CSC. I hope next week brings better news for all the people still high up on the CSC transfer list!

Oh my god Katie, that is just absolute ####### what's happened. I surely do not feel you are being a moany cow or anything, be my guest to carry on as much as you want.

I am gobsmacked, but you know, not really that surprised that these idiots have done this, what a bunch of morons they have working for them. There should be some accountablility happening here with this department. To think that as slowly as they 'grant' us permission to be here, they can a lot quickly take it away from you, for whatever reason they want to dream up, even if it is their mistake, you have no right of appeal.

I am right there with you with the not much liking life here, if I didn't feel the way I did about my husband, I probably would of gone right on back to Australia a while back now, probably wouldn't of even bothered going through the 6 month wait for the K-1 to go through, whilst watching others get theirs in a month or two. The continual limbo is horrible. Even after you get your LPR you are best to go through and get citizenship, because you are pretty much guaranteed you will be able to stay, no matter how long you have been here for. Even though I was considering doing that anyways, to stop having to deal with USCIS, I just hate the fact that you 'have' to do that, just to be sure.

Just makes what I said earlier about what USCIS really stands for: USELESS SLACKERS CAUSING IMMIGRANTS STRESS.

Wow! They keep doing some major screwups! Makes me so annoyed at how crappily they can work and we have to pay all these expensive fees and have to put up with their mistakes anyway.

Hi, everybody, my GC approved this morning. last touch was Jan-15-2007, transfer to CSC on Aug.8 2006. Wish all you approve will be coming soon.

On February 20, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30

days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will

contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service.

You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just

follow the link below to register.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status

I filed at the NSC, but it was transfered to the CSC almost immediately...Since Cali is the slowest it looks like my wait will be even longer :crying:

hi there novelyn & gragg! it seems that we're on the same boat, we filed ours at NSC too and was transferred to CSC..i've checked the uscis site and i saw there that NSC is not processing I129F, so probably this is the reason why we're transferred..though im not yet sure about this..can somebody there tell us why?!!

06/25/12: received email from USDOS - with MNL# assigned for both parents & agent registration (DS-3032)

06/25/12: received email from USDOS - requesting for AOS (Affidavit of Support) processing fee for $88.00
