I tried the CSC email a few days ago and this is the response I got:

We apologize for the inconvenience. However, the California Service

Center (CSC) no longer accepts inquiries from the general public via

email. All inquiries must be submitted to the National Customer Service

Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. The National Customer Service Center

will route your inquiry to the appropriate USCIS District Office or

Service Center, and will track your inquiry to a final resolution. If

you've received a transfer notice regarding your case please inform the

National Customer Service Center at the time you submit your inquiry.

The National Customer Service is available Monday through Friday, 8:00

AM to 5:00 PM, PST. Thank you.

So, pretty much we have no way to find out what is happening with our case beyond the unhelpfulline or going drastic to the Congressman, which I don't want to do since our case isn't urgent, I just wanted to see what answers I could get. O well :P

Well well well. After a four month journey from Denver to California, it appears my case has finally made it to the CSC. Transferred on October 16, I just got the following email this morning:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Hopefully this means I'll be getting some good news soon. At least I know my file isn't in a landfill somewhere!

Luis N Bebe, on what date did you get transferred to CSC? Once I have that I will add you as well.

My EAD had not been touched since 10/23/06!! We made an InfoPass appointment to see why the EAD wasnt approved. They told us that since our reply to the RFE (on I-485) was received on Nov 30, thats when the 90 day countdown begins...so I should get the EAD by the end of Feb 07.

Finally the EAD got touched on 02/14/07 and 02/15/07 - I was so happy.

Then the I-485 got touched too on 02/15/07 - saying another RFE is on the way :bonk::bonk::bonk:

Now I am thinking: 1) Is this going to delay my EAD AGAIN?? Is that why they were touching my EAD to put it back in suspense until we return the RFE??

and 2) What could the RFE be for? Vaccination Supplement since we did not submit the I-693A (only submitted a list of vaccinations that was given by the doctors in London)? or something related to the I-864 again?

I am so upset...

Eventhough we submitted I-693 (a) vaccination supplement, we still got an RFE for medical exam. This system sucks, some people get away with it without even sending vaccination supplement and others are being asked twice.

I have not received any notice of the case being transferred. Will they advise via email, snail mail or both? I just noticed that the AOS was touched on 2-8-07 and the AP on 2-12-07.

AOS Interview: Decision Pending :( FBI Name Check not completed

Email welcoming New Resident on 5/22/07.

Removal of Conditions now in progress

USCIS received: 3-6-09

NOA1: 3-9-09

Biometrics: letter arrived 3-18-09, scheduled 3-28-09

Online I noticed that my case is at the Missouri Service Center. Is that where they all go then later they get trasferred? I am really getting confused now. :blink:
