Khan looks like you and I are lost in never never land together. Mine was last touched Septmber 18th and that I am sure is because I had biometrics done the 16th. I'm still waiting on an email saying it was received in CSC. can't help but be frustrated.

My online status says this case was sent to another office for processing. then it says it was sent to California service Centre. I then called the info line in November as i thought it was strange I had not received the email saying it had been received in California. They told me it had been received and that for some reason my online case status was not being updated so I couldn't see when they "touched" my case. I called again on december 19th and was told my case was outside of CSC's processing time and she sent them some type of service request where I should hear something within 45 days, so I believe that is around 3rd February. We'll see if I ever do hear anything back from them, if not I'll be calling again!

I spoke with someone at the 800 # back in November when I called about our change of address. I asked about not receiving an email or anything that it was received at CSC yet and I was told that they were waiting on biometrics or some such thing. I told her I had them done back in September and she said something about it taking time to get them caught up to the rest of my file BLAH BLAH BLAH. But I have since then gotten my EAD so there for they have to have gotten the biometrics and since I received my EAD card at my new address that can't possibly be a problem. I have no idea where to go from there, I called the 800# yesterday and all I got was the automated ####### no live body and it just said what my status says online and that is that it has been sent to another office for processing and I will hear once a decision is made yada yada yada.

Heres what my online status says: Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing.

On September 14, 2006, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case has been sent to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

And that's what it has said since the day I got the email saying it was being transferred to CSC.

OK...our status says "This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred."

Is this called a "Received at CSC" status? Is there any one here whose status specifically says "Case received at CSC"??

Freda, that is the exact same email I received on September 14th also, and my case has not been touched since. I called just a few weeks ago and stayed on the line after all teh automated rubbish and they eventually put me onto an operator who told me she'd send out a service request for me. Maybe you should call them again and see what happens. Either way goodluck with it, looks like we have the exact same timeline more or else so would be interesting to see how it works out for the both of us!

AHH that mades me even more mad at the info line idiots. When I called to see if my case was received (before I finally got the email about a month after transfer) she acted like she knew nothing about that email and kept going on about the paper mailing saying it was transferred (not received) coming in 30 days. I hate that info line......

Oh good news from us though, James got a job today!! :)

Yes KarenCee, this is the last update we have received. Before this it was saying something like "We have transferred your case to another office for processing" and then one day later it changed to what you have posted.

That is too weird!!!

My 1st email read "Case Transferred to CSC"

2nd email read "Case pending at CSC"

3rd email after bio appt. reads "Case has been transferred to other office" and goes on to say case transferred to CSC. (again!)

I'm hoping it was biometrics that were transferred to CSC.

Anyways, I hope all of you who have been waiting since September and before hear something soon.
