For those you have gone before us, should we expect a NOA or some other communication from CSC confirming receipt of case ?? How long ??

Edandying you should receive a letter from CSC saying they have received your case. I received a NOA, Notice Type: Transfer Notice, postmarked for Feb 24 2006. My online status was also updated on March 2nd to say CSC had received my case.

I did not get a mailed NOA of the transfer but I got several emails advising of the transfer and confirming CSC's receipt of our files. I have seen some transferees who only got emails about the transfer but no confirmation that CSC had received the files.

Waiting_honey8382: Thanks for the info. We are Philly DO, but I thought we were Pittsburgh so it's good to know the facts.

The good news is we got a letter today that said we were transferred to CSC!!! This is a pleasant surprise. I will PM eau_xplain the details so I can get added to the list :dance:

Pretty typical of the inconsistency of the process, sounds like my situation is not unique, I will wait a bit for the approval

Our case was updated online by the CSC. It said "it is taking between 270 and 300 days for us to process this kind of case." Is everyone told this when they get transferred? The reason I ask is that I noticed the majority of cases are getting approved in much less time than 9 or 10 months.

Yesterday i received a letter by snail mail that my case has been trasnfered to CSC....

It's just a standart message they give to everybody. These approvals happen much sooner than that.
