congrats betnash...came at the right time for a fresh year ahead of job searching lol

well the news here at the moment

i went on the USCIS website this arvo...saw it was touched yet again..it said my EAD was mailed out to me

went to see my husband off to work and their in the mail box was my card..yes i said WT!!!!

on the card it sez i was approved on the 7th dec. 2006 valid to 6th dec 2007... :dancing:

their notification system is up the creek i reckon..im still surprised i have the EAD in hand because of already getting my G/card....

i still reckon towards the end of the year is a good time to apply for these journey's ..they want a clean slate for the new year lol...my theory only folks lol... :whistle:

come on CSC we need more to come not many weeks left in December ....

Well, my case is still suffering from lack of updates as it is still at Sept 14th! I just called USCIS and reached a friendly lady who advised me to call InfoPass as they couldn't tell me anymore than I already knew.

So, I am currently filling out details on InfoPass and it's saying I have to go to the actual office. I've read before that people can do this over the phone. What's the deal? I know this is all down to the FBI check as my name is common...there are 4 people with my name in this town alone!

28th May 06 - Arrive in Texas!

8th July 06 - Married!!!

3rd August 06 - EAD received at USCIS

29th August 06 - Biometrics

18th September 06 - Case (AOS) transfered to CSC on 9/14 (advised by mail)

4/6/10th October 06 - EAD touched!

11th October 06 - Email from USCIS - EAD Approved on 10/10! Card on the way!

16th October 06 - EAD card received!

16th October 06 - EAD Application email received confirming letter to be sent.

22nd February 07 - Email sent to USCIS requesting an update.

5th March 07 - Case touched! AOS is now "pending" at the CSC! Progress!

5th March 07 - Email from CSC confirming I am awaiting the results of the FBI name check.

27th April 07 - Email received. A notice requesting additional info has been mailed.

4th May 07 - RFE letter arrived.

21st May 07 - RFE docs returned to USCIS by mail.

6th June 07 - Email from CRIS saying RFE received and case processing has resumed!

26th June 07 - Phone call from a USCIS officer at the CSC in California asking for a copy of my I-94 by fax.

27th June 07 - InfoPass appointment at 745am.

12th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Green Card on order as of 8/11!

15th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Welcome Notice sent.

18th August 07 - Welcome Notice Received.

20th August 07 - GC received!

If there's a way to Infopass over the phone, I want to know about it! I know that 1.5 hours driving each way (assuming no traffic) isn't as far as some have to go to their district office, but it's far enough to be really inconvenient. Unfortunately, in person is the only way I'm aware of to have an Infopass appointment.

Hang in there -- we're in the same FBI name check boat that you are.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

Please add us to the list, AOS got transferred to CSC today december 18th.

08/02 mailed AOS and EAD, 08/15 recieved bio appointment for 08/22

09/13 AOS status, notice returned undelivered on 09/05, Called 800 line to change mailing address to P.O. Box

10/26 infopass for undelivered notice-no help from USCIS officer

11/01, 11/03 called 800 number to request notice resent

11/09 infopass for EAD and undelivered notice, still no help from officer

11/08,11/13, 11/14, 11/15 EAD touched

11/18 recived another notice for 11/03 call to customer service saying notice sent to me on 08/18 was undeliverable(wasn't that the reason I called!!!)

11/27 3rd infopass for to resend RFE this time meet a nice lady that sent an e-mail to MSC to resend RFE

11/28 Sent evidence for I864 since it seems to be the most common RFE

12/01 e-mail and status RFE finally resent

12/05 status online response to RFE recieved(means RFE was for I864)

12/06, 12/08 AOS touched

12/09 recieved RFE in the mail(didn't bother replying again)

12/09, 12/11 AOS touched 12/13,12/14 EAD touched

12/15 EAD Card ordered!!! Thank God!!!

12/16 EAD touched

12/18 AOS transfered to CSC ,EAD touched, approval notice mailed

12/19 EAD, AOS touched

12/22 AOS recieved at CSC

12/25 AOS touched ,12/26 EAD recieved in mail

12/29, 12/31 AOS touched

01/04 GC ordered!!!

01/05 welcome letter mailed

01/10 approval notice mailed

01/11, 01/15 AOS touched

01/17 recieved GC in mail, email and status online document other than card mailed???

Mine's about the same! The Houston office is about an hour to an hour and a half, depending on traffic! I'm sure I've read the people have called InfoPass to discuss, but the option is not on their site.
