i suppose its the offices with dates that are further back than other offices but i could be wrong i have been befroe

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

What do they consider "backlogged"?

How long is a piece of string?

Snarky - I don't think we know. The processing times are pretty tilted anyway since all cases aren't being reported.

I'd really love to see the unreported cases from all offices get transferred. Then maybe you'd see people who have been waiting YEARS, not months, get cleared, approved, and get their cards.

It would depend on the length of it. We should research and see what the timelines are at these various offices and attempt to figure out what they consider backlogged. I'll get on it.

PS: One thing that puzzles me a bit: I only got messages that the "approval notice was sent out".....but no messages about "card production ordered", even though I was approved a few days before you.....is it normal, that some people don't get all possible messages...? :unsure:
