As per my AOS timeline, was luckily transferred to CSC and finally after 4 months, i was approved without interview. So far im awaiting for my greencard to arrive in our mailbox hopefully this coming week it will arrive. though been approved in my EAD but the card never came bcos its still pending as per email notify me, should i get worried on this?

Also my BIG worry is .... WHY? does my K2 son AOS get pending case since we filed our AOS together, done our biometrics together, replied to our RFE together and done by sending whole files again, our case are transferred to CSC together. Is there any processing time for K2 approval? even the mother is approved already?

I just need some info's if someone here with K2 process and/or with case like mine. Thanks!

Hey there,

got approved on Friday, the mail from Chris says that they send me a notice for welcoming the new permanent resident and an other mail where it says card production ordered....

I'm so happy, that just made my day...

Does anyone of you know how long it usually takes to recive the GC??

Hey kaffykat, yeah ive been using your timeline before as my guide ... hopefully you heard something about yours & daughter with both of your AOS. I just dont wanna have more worries about the processing, because the RFE's before ive got was the affidavit of support i forgot to include in my son file, but we got it both so i already replied to it sending full files again, and luckily ive got transferred and now been approved.

Hopefully, my approval will result of a finally receiving my physical greencard tomorrow or within this week. Hope it really final since ive got a K2 behind me. sometimes, you never know how USCIS process things. It's been a stress for me in awhile about all of this process, since my EAD application been roaming around in every corner of the process, got approved but still no card being issued. though its more important for me & to my husband for my 5 yrs old son to have AOS approval, so we could process his adoption. So he could have all the benefits, that my husband wants him to have since from the start.

Goodluck for us with K2's cases. Soemtimes seeing K1 cases so fast for approval, makes you stress, though in one side you could just reason out, our case is different because we have our kids along with our processing.

well folks, i'm back from my second biometrics...this time they only took a print of my right index finger and my picture and my signature

i didnt get them to admit they messed something up the first time tho, unless you count "sometimes it doesn't go through" as an admission of ineptitude :bonk:

anyhow, i got it all done fast so i really cant complain

Got my "GREENCARD" & Approval notice in our mailbox today! with no errors on info's, originally i've got approved Nov. 17 on my white card. :thumbs: Removing condition Aug. 2008.

:huh: though ... we're still waiting for my son K2 AOS being in a pending case @ CSC.

Still no news for me about my aos- i don't like being 6th from the top on the waiting approval list :angry:

Alas there is nothing I can say to make it better, but know I appreciate how frustrating this all is. Hopefully it will be approved soon. I sent an email to my MP (again) but he doesn't believe he has any sway regarding the FBI name check. Maybe if you wrote to your UK MP then we can try and nag them into doing something to help the waiting. It can't hurt, right?

november has been a good month for approvals compared to oct an sept

keep them coming CSC heaps more especially the top of the list people..

to all those who received their greencard aint it purty lol

congrats take a look at the signatures of people to see when your greencard could arrive vzla2006 ..depends on where you live in the U.S. i think..

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Heya kath&Rob,

Just a quick question....... now that i have my greencard for which i passed the AOS without interview. Do I still need to secure a stamp on my passport? bcoz some Vjer's who went thru interview got their stamp on their passport when they got approved.

Because i might be planning to go home hopefully next month or january in Phils. Any info's for what should I do for that?

im excited! ive been touched every day since they transferred me to CSC!! kind of gives me hope they might approve me soon!!! crossing fingers!!

K-1 Process:

I-129F sent - 20th Jan 2006

NOA2 - 18th April 2006 (APPROVED: 87th day!)

Packet 3 received - 5th May 2006

Packet 4 - 19th May 2006

Medical - 23rd May 2006

Interview - 9th June 2006 (APPROVED: 139th day!)

Married on August 10th 2006

AOS Process:

AOS/EAD sent - 13th September 2006

RFE on AOS - 22nd September 2006

Biometrics - 5th October 2006 (22nd day)

RFE Sent Back - October 28th 2006

Transfered to CSC - November 15th 2006 (63rd day)

EAD Approved - December 11th 2006 (90th day)

AOS APPROVED!! - December 14th 2006 (93rd day)
