Hey all,

My not-so-green card showed up in the mail today! I already headed over to the Social Security office to request a new SSN card without the DHS restriction, no problems there, I was in and out in 20 minutes.

NO MORE USCIS FOR TWO YEARS!!! YEE HAW!!!

Thanks to everyone here who has helped and listened! And now let's see similar progress for everyone still waiting......

What a pain in the behind JEELEEBEE, well hopefully that is all that needs to be done, then you can have a break from USCIS Hell!! *fingers crossed*

hi kath, you know how messed up this process can be, but i'm done complaining, i'm just gonna jump through all the hoops from now until citizenship without a peep

as for the job, it's going well...i would like to get a paycheck sometime soon tho...yay shopping! :D

why couldnt of told you ages ago that u needed to go for a bio again jeeleebee..i would really love to see the work places ...did you start ya job yet if so hows it going

got approved on Friday, the mail from Chris says that they send me a notice for welcoming the new permanent resident and an other mail where it says card production ordered....

I'm so happy, that just made my day...

Does anyone of you know how long it usually takes to recive the GC??

Hi everyone!

I have a question regarding CSC transfer for AOS applications...

Is it possible that the reason why AOS applications of K1 visa holders get transferred to CSC is because the petitioners are US citizens?

I was wondering because I remembered vaguely reading in one post that it is uncommon for AOS applications of K3 visa holders to get transferred to CSC. It's usually from K1.

US citizens AND permanent residents can file for K3 whereas only USC can file for K1...

Is this deduction correct? Any insights from the experts in the group?
