Hey Waiting_in_Vancouver & KaffyKat,

Just an update on my case.... I'm APPROVED!!!!!!! :dance: on my K1 AOS application just today Nov. 21th. I was been touched yesterday by email, and today i received another email again saying they mailed already the WELCOME NEW PERMANENT RESIDENT notice & the "white" card should be mailed within 60 days notice. On the other hand, my son K2 AOS is still in pending. hmm :huh: i wonder whats wrong with my son application, well he is a minor at age 5.

Just last friday, i called USCIS about my 120th day of my EAD, and they gave me notification number for them to follow up my EAD case, but instead i received yesterday and today that i already approved for greencard. hmmm :blush: well i think i don't need to wait for the EAd but the greencard itself. :lol:

I just got another touch, and another new email. This is the third since they approved me on Friday. Weird. This time it says:

Receipt Number: MSCxxxxxxxxxxxx

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On November 21, 2006, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Heya Kath,

Well still no movement on my AOS, not touched since 9th September, and guess what?? STILL no SS card, sheeesh, I am sure that office has something against giving me one of those little suckers, ah well. :angry:

No point me even looking into working now til the end of January, my younger daughter will be here on December 6th til January 24th for a holiday (can't wait haven't seen her for 6 months now), even though I got an EAD I can't use, maybe I should auction it on ebay, hehehe. :lol:

I decided a few weeks ago to do a 'little bit of painting', that has turned into a bit of an understatement, I completely did our bedroom, ceiling included and am three quarters through the kitchen now, just finished the cabinets and trim off. I also did a spot of sewing. No, I am not bored.... :blush:

i was looking at the transfer list and thought i would do some investigating just in case they havent let this thread know of their approval i couldnt find the name pattra as a member..

im thinking pattra is PICKTHAI because they have to similar of a timeline

if im wrong let me know ....

p.s. just saw ya post as it came up..good for you..hubby did all that on various times i came out here..get this he put recipes book pages inside the cupboards and stained over them looks cool even did a bread bin and his containers lol...damm ya might get a bit for the ead ya know lol...did you take a look at the social security websites that i told ya about to push them to give it to you...enjoy your daughter coming over...would be lovely havin the kids over but not for awhile so we can save up for it ...you cooking for thanks giving???

gsmaclean I think this is the email that your actual green card is now in the mail ... Keep us posted when it arrives ....

kaffykat looks like the list is keeping you busy ... Seems alot of action lately ...

I haven't been posting much as my new job is keeping me very busy ... I usually check for CSC updates before bed ... Good luck for all those still waiting for approval ...

Isn't it horrible that every time I see my username moving up the list, I cringe just a little more?

I'm assuming David's just stuck in background check limbo, but damn it, I'm starting to think things would have moved faster with an interview!
