I thought you all might be interested to see how many people applied for EAD and got their AOS approved so quickly that they never received it (N/R)= 180 bucks down the drain, but good insurance...

Added our EAD (John&Annie) as a "N/A" since we didn't apply for one, but it took about 3 goes to work out how you each got all the information to line up. You guys who worked it out and made it happen, you rock.

And 23 days without a *touch* makes me want to cry, but that's an aside. Good job to everyone approved, adn good luck to everyone waiting

Still got Saturday left of this week, you never know...

Maybe your AOS is so close to being completed is the reason why your EAD hasn't been touched.

It'll all work out, it did with the K-1, it will with this too. :yes:

aw guys... don't get discouraged. i know its easy enough for me to say now, but still... getting down about it won't make it come any faster. just think of it this way... you'll probably still be further ahead than if you'd never been transferred at all. many VJers who didn't get the transfer have maybe 4x the wait AND the stress of prepping for an interview.

i know when it was me, i tried to be patient... and many days i just had it up to HERE with waiting and worrying and wondering. but when it finally was over and done with, those few weeks and months didn't seem so bad.

alot of us have faced challenges throughout the journey, whether it was K1 drama, or Embassy drama, or finances, or RFEs, or arguments, or kids, or jobs, or whatever else. just remember that its a temporary delay and that you at least have your SO right next to you for support. and of course, you have all of us, rooting for you every step of the way. :thumbs:

those approvals will come when you least expect it. just do your best to stay positive. (F)

They're federal employees, after all. They were probably off Friday and Saturday for Veteran's Day.

Here's to hoping that lots of work will get done this week!

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

You can add us here? My husband's AOS got transferred Oct. 25, 2006, and he got his GC Nov. 11, 2006. NO RFEs and NOOO interview ! :dance::thumbs:

MARRIED: AUG. 12, 2006 12:00 PM - AOS Filed: Sept. 27, 2006 NOA: Oct. 02, 2006 - Approved: YES~! - Green Card Received: Nov. 11, 2006

EAD e-Filed: Oct. 07, 2006 - NOA: Oct. 10, 2006 - Approved? - Ignored by USCIS as AOS came 1st - free money for USCIS~!

LIFTING CONDITIONS - I-751 Sent: Aug. 27, 2008 - APPROVED: May 27, 2009 - RECEIVED: July 13, 2009

NATURALIZATION - N-400 Filed: Oct. 18, 2011
