Ouch that's gotta hurt Vancouver............... :(

I was betting that after 5 touches on your AOS since being transferred to the CSC you were going to be approved next!

It's been a long time since any approvals have been handed out at the CSC

it's just so weird........ there are no patterns that you can follow with the way they process cases at the CSC it seems???

some people's cases fly through there, in and processed within 2-3 weeks..........others don't even get e-mail updates........I think Katie from the UK mentioned that an USCIS officer told her that sometimes they don't bother to process updates on some cases (and of course with others they do...)

and then there's the rest of us and the transfer to the CSC list is getting longer and longer........

Maybe there'll be a whole bunch of cases processed sometime this week?? I'd love to know how things work there and what they are doing to our cases??!!!

It seems like they've just stopped touching old cases -- cases come in, get hit three or four times in a week or two, then just die.

And the list just keeps getting longer.

I saw elsewhere that there's something like 7 Million apps pending FBI name check -- maybe that's the sudden hold up???

Ya I know there doesn't seem to be any reasonable process ... I sure hope this RFE doesn't affect my EAD ... now that would suck ... I was thinking with the transfer to CSC and all of the touchs that my AOS would be approved prior to my EAD now I have to pray that I get my EAD approved soon ...

My future boss contacted me today to talk about a few things and asked how the immigration process is going ... They are eager for me to start working as am I ...

Yeah when I called, the IO told me that my case is infact in California but they never updated my case so that I can see it on the portfolio account. It's odd cos other people can see touches and everything and I have no idea what's going on with mine, at least I know it's there safe and sound under a pile of paperwork! Looks like I'll never be able to keep an eye on my AOS progress through these 'touches', although sometimes I question how helpful touches are. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to what goes on.
