Updated List of CSC Transferees

You should hopefully receive notification soon, the next couple of days, maybe even today. If you don't then you have to wait 30 days after the transfer notice date to call them, hopefully only once, to get put through to someone who can tell you whether it is there or not.

This whole wait 30 days (or more in other cases) to call is a bunch of BS. I mean, I've seen people wait and wait and wait and get told that same thing every 30 days. I'm not complaining on my behalf since I'm very thankful for this transfer and know things will probably go faster for me since I'm transferred than others who aren't but the whole idea of waiting 30 days to call just makes me mad for everyone who ever gets told that.

And, our case was touched on the 10th for aos and 12th for ead, so I know it's somewhere at least and someone has seen it in the last few days.

Yep that waiting is a pain. I had to end up ringing them twice as the first person had no clue what she was doing. I rang back and if I got the same person again I was just going to hang up as she just didn't get it. I had been told previously to wait the 30 days and then it would be put through to someone else who can access more information. :wacko:

The second one, eventually, put me through to someone higher up who was able to actually access my file more than the 'misinformation line' people. I was told that it was actually at CSC and it was unusual that I didn't receive an email. :huh:

Here's hoping I wasn't just given 'lip service' and was being told what I wanted to hear. :whistle:

Ok, for my own torture I tried to call the customer service line but I couldn't figure how to get to a person....so any help on how to do this?

Should I be worried that I haven't yet gotten an email saying that CSC received our case? All I've had in the mail/email is the notice that it was being transferred, no indication it has been received.

This has been happening to some people. Give it a little more time and then call them if you do not hear anything by the end of next week.

Well, EAD just got approved anyways so I'm not to worried about the greencard anymore I thought we would end up with the greencard first but since we have EAD James can work now and we won't end up on the streets! :thumbs:

Hi James and Miranda, I too have been transferred to CSC but have received no email from them. I was transferred on September 14 and aos was last touched on 15 September. I called the mis-info line and they said to wait 60 days from last email to call them again. Congrats on getting your EAD approved, I was touched on that yesterday, the only time since 22 August so i hope i'm not too far behind you!

Hopefully your EAD will come soon! As you can see we were touched yesterday on it and approved today so it looks like you're really close in time to us!

Well still no AOS touch yet....

Kaffykat did you manage to speak to an immigration officer? I think i'll call on monday as that will be my 31st day since it was transferred with still no email of being received. Congrats on finally getting some info on your case, it's good to know it made it safely out to california!

James and Miranda, looking at your timeline I should be right next to you, so here's hoping for that EAD on monday!!

Katie,

After calling a second time I was able to get on to an immigration officer who knew what to do.

If you get someone called Ethel, hang up she won't put you through but tell you it's been transferred and that's all you need to know, not whether it has got there or not.

The second one put me through to someone else, be prepared to sit on hold. But this next person is able to check further than the usual ones you talk to. It is only 30 days that you have to wait to ring and see what's up with your petition, CSC has that long to send you a notice of receipt.

Good luck with calling them, I did the dishes and tidied up the kitchen while I was sitting on hold, with the phone on speaker, listening to the fall asleep music.

But with that said, even though my file was apparently accessed still no touches on my EAD or AOS since the 9th September.
