Any news anybody?! :(:huh:

No...nothing :(

(and, by the way, I have exactly the same dates as you: transferred on May 23, at the CSC on June 8, last touch on June 17th...nothing since then.... :( )

Any updates? I think we were transferred around the same time. I hope you get good news soon!

No :crying:

I caved in and decided to email CSC again since it's now past the 60 days stated in the email. I'm not sure why it's taking so long since my security checks have already cleared, is there another check I'm not aware of? lol, i keep thinking they're passing my case everytime they see it on their desk bc I didn't enter on a K visa. But I know others have not entered on a K visa and have had fast approvals. I just don't know :(

i'll wait another 14 days before I start thinking of contacting my senator again. It just bothers me because I thought I was so close! :blink:

How do you know that your security checks have cleared?

When I initially emailed CSC 2 months ago that was the response the immigration officer gave me. I think it's in a previous post in this thread. Went something like, "all security checks have cleared at this time, it will be forwarded to a monthly processing shelf for review. a decision or transaction should occur within 60 days".

Well, I've been touched again, but I also got this email this morning. It worries me - what could they want? Should I be worried? :(

I meant to ask, I read earlier that you can email or phone them to inquire about the RFE or your case. Which email address or phone number should I use?

Well, I've been touched again, but I also got this email this morning. It worries me - what could they want? Should I be worried? :(

I'm sure that's not the e-mail you hoped to receive but on the bright side you can be certain now that they are working on your case. The RFE could be something simple and sending it back quickly might lead to a speedy approval. Hope you get it soon so as not to spend too long wondering and worrying.

Not sure of the best way to contact USCIS with inquiries but the e-mail for CSC (which I haven't tried to use so far) is CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov

I'm trying to think positively and happy to see some movement from CSC after the last few weeks were so quiet (everybody on vacation?).. even if nothing new with my hubby's case so far.

Would anyone have any ideas or examples on what RFEs they received? We were so careful with the AOS packet and I thought I'd included everything (birth certs, passport copies, etc...). I can't imagine what is missing :huh:

sometimes it's because they lost something in your file...

some rfe's I've seen include the last tax return (if for example you filed in 2005 with a 2004 tax return and they now want a 2005 tax return).

maybe further proof supporting your relationship or financial status.

really it could be anything. hopefully you find out by next week!

October 19, 2006 2nd Immigration Interview - APPROVED

5-20 business days for the Green Card to arrive, maybe I'll be back to see my family before Christmas?

Or maybe it has something to do with the medical/vaccination supplement? Did you include all those things as well....? :unsure:

Thank you all for the replies. We included the last 3 years tax returns (2006, 2005, 2004), plus all the medical information (DS-3025 plus Vaccination supplement), plus all the other things that were requested...I guess we can just wait and see...

I've done my biometrics and I have received my EAD already.... :huh:

I'll keep you posted...

It's probably something really stupid -- on their part :lol: Don't worry. Sometimes getting an RFE is really good news. You send them what they want and you are approved really fast!! Keep your chin up and let us know when you get it and what they want.
