- 12-20-07 EAD and AP touched (Notice Returned as Undeliverable)

- 01-04-08 Biometrics appointment done

- 01-19-08 resent hubby's income proof

- 01-28-08 AOS touched (Response to RFE received, and case processing has resumed)

- 03-10-08 EAD and AP finally touched and approved!!! =)

- 03-12-08 Case Transfer to CSC

- 03-13-08 EAD Touched again (Card Production ordered)

- 03-17-08 AP and Transfer notice received in mail (AP valids until 03-09-09)

Yeah, it was quite a surprise. I had just returned from the biometrics appointment and I decided to check the status online.

Even up to last night there was no information on there. Looking forward to some good news and good luck to you too.. :thumbs:

Since we are in Los Angeles, I'd love to know if any folks here have ever avoided the interview...

Sadly you may still be in name check even if transferred, but there seems to be a lot more people transferred that get their green card within 3-6 months of filing AOS than those that get stuck and hung up waiting on the namecheck of FBI. Just my observation, I have noticed over 95% of the people on this website that get transferred out to CSC during AOS seem to get a green card in the mail within 3-6 month or less after transfer. Sometimes those FBI name checks take longer since not all their records are electronic or still have to be researched by a person or by hand going through paper files and or actually in person calling or verifying or interviewing cross references, which delay some name checks if there is a hit or some sort of possible match with a foreigner's name.

No, not only non-Californians are transferred, even California filers get transferred and could very well avoid having the interview, have seen this on this website in past 12 months of people from California get transferred within CSC to get GC in mail and no interview. :thumbs:

I sent my RFE medical and know that it was received on 2/27/08 when i checked on line my postal receipt. My cut off date for sending back my RFE was 1st March. Since then, I have not received any touches. I feel slightly anxious that my green card is hanging over me. The medical that I received here in the US did not seem as thorough as the one I had in London, ( I am not complaining) but due to now being 32 weeks pregnant, I was unable to have an xray. The xray I had in London and have with me in the US is out of date. Does anybody know if I still need an Xray once my baby is born. My TB test was negative. Up until my original medical was lost my immigration process was slow but without complications. I just feel vulnerable now that I am due to have a baby born in the US and I don't have my green card yet.

Yes, the wheels at CSC seem to be moving mighty slowly these days. They received our RFE response on 2/21 and didn't acknowledge it until 3/11. We got a touch on 3/12 and I thought things would be progressing quickly after they received everything they asked for, but so far that has not been the case. I wonder if they've been a bit inundated by the many transfers. I'm very glad we have received AP and EAD already; otherwise I think my hubby and I would be feeling pretty discouraged by now.

ZQT's chart is great. Does anyone else notice that there seems to be not much coming out of CSC so far this month?

ROC Journey:

01/26/2010 - Check cashed

Hi there Jerricho...

Try not to worry too much. I think the folks at CSC are just running really behind in processing RFE replies. I hope they get yours processed and get your green card out to you before your baby is born! It sounds like you gave them everything they asked for...I would hold onto the delivery confirmation showing when the package was received by them as it seems to be taking a long time for them to open the packages and acknowledge receipt.

My personal theory is they have been losing a lot of medicals lately, thus sending out loads of RFE's for said medicals, thus receiving loads of replies...in the end causing a pile-up in the mail room and a delay in processing. Hopefully they get it sorted out soon (whatever the issue is) and we all get what we have been waiting for so patiently...
