Good news! For 2 days, I didn't check my case's status online as they've never "touched" it since the day they transferred it in Nov. 6. Today, I thought I'd check without expecting anything, but to my surprise:

Receipt Number: MSCXXXXXXXXXX

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On December 3, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I am just so happy! I was hoping to get approved by Christmas that's why I didn't expect that it would come this soon. What a surprise!!! I checked my mail and found that CRIS has 2 emails for me. One is that one above and the other one is this:

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On December 3, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30

contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You

can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow

the link below to register.

Thank God! I am so grateful right now because I've been looking forward to doing so many things and now that I will be receiving my GC, we can now do all our plans. YEAH!

Actually, our card was ordered on the 5th, but the touch is updated on the 6th

Congratulations to you! They ordered mine around 1:00 in the morning and mailed it on 6:00am, hehehe. Oh well...

I had an email saying card production was ordered on 11/09. Latest online status says that they sent me an approval notice on 11/15. Haven't received either yet. Going to call USCIS on Monday. :(
