I originally posted this in the Green Card discussion forum but a friend of mine, eau xplain, suggested that I post it here as well.

Just wondering if there is a trend pertaining to filing multiple I-485 forms and if it directly affects who gets transferred to the CSC?

My wife, the primary beneficiary filed for her AOS on July 27, 2007 and at the same time we filed for our daughter Ashley's AOS as well.

Can the VJ members with dependants that filed their AOS applications recently (multiple I-485's .. spouse and child/children) please post to let me know if they were or were not transferred to the CSC? I know many things probably determine whether a case is transferred or not .. income, co-sponsorship, etc. but I am just trying to get a feel if this is a factor as well.

YES. GOD!!!! We were approved today! Please update this list! This is a wonderful way to start the weekend.

One thing I've noticed is that with our case at least, it seems as though it take one month for a step to be completed. Example NOA--1 month---biometrics---transfer to CSC--- approval. I know its not the case for everyone, but I can't help but wonder if its a newly emerging pattern.

Hopefully, its your approval touch! We got touched yesterday afternoon and the welcome e-mail at 10pm...only I justed checked the e-mail this morning. I think our touch was the approval and the automated message went out later that evening.

Yeah! I will keep my fingers crossed.

22 Jan 2010 - New Green Card Received!
