Updated List of CSC Transferees

[i finally got together all the bits and bobs for the RFE and am sending it off today. Just wanted to check a few things:

Two Affidavits - one for myself and one for my daughter.

Im sending copies of everything - including the W2s.

Ive included copies of tax return transcripts for 2003 and 2004 and the copy tax return for 2005.

Ive also included copies of any amended tax returns that we've done as well.

Also included is the vaccination supplement sealed in the envelope for my daughter.

A letter from my husbands' employers.

Three recent payslips.

Just to keep everyone updated - Ive just received two e mails from CSC saying they've received the additional info, and it's taking anywhere between 270-300 days to process but because preliminary processing was complete the remaining time will be less etc etc etc etc.

CSC just approved my mom's greencard (via sister, who is a USC, and filed for her).

Below is the timeline:

2/21/05 - Original App Submitted

9/19/05 - Xfr'd to California Service Center

4/20/06 - Submitted Medical (RFE)

5/20/06 - Rec'd email stating Welcome Notice sent! B)

Hi there,

I'm new to this forum, and its good to know that ppl are able to adjust their status(marriage based) w/out going through the intreview process.

However I am a bit confused, Is this only ture for cases in which spouses have entered USA on K visa?

we have filed for my Husband's AOS. But he is already working here on L1 visa.

I understand nobody can tell for sure what criteria USCIS uses to waive the interview requiremnt. But had anyone being approved w/out interview who was not come here on K visa??????

There have been a few cases. I know there's at least one that came here on a tourist visa, and I myself came here on an F-1 visa.

I sent an email to the CSC last Tuesday (May 16) but never got any response from them...not even confirmation that they received an email. Is this standard procedure or should I be worried? I think I read a post by someone that said they had to send two emails before they got a reply.

It took 2 weeks for me to get a response. I debated sending a second but the very day I was going to send it, I received a response. My file was then touched the same day, plus the day after (May 18, May 19) after going 3 months without a touch. Others have gone a month before getting a response and some seem to get a response the next day. Wait until the two week period and then re-send it if you haven't received a response yet.

Just got an email from USCIS that our case has been approved!!!

COngrats, AShish! I, too got an email saying the same thing!!! I also hope to get the green card soon, without any errors!

As you may have been seeing in the list of CSC transferees, I hold the record of having the longest "RFE status" having received 2 RFEs. Thank GOd, finally, the wait is over... My mind can relax right now, and will soon be able to find a job.
