We just got an RFE. I posted the info separately in the AOS forum, but I thought I'd just share it here too.

#######... but at least it means they have not buried your case in a dead pile somewhere.

Mo

Like I said...this whole "we process based on receipt date" is bogus.

Still no EAD card and no Infopass openings for two weeks. Maybe we should book one anyway.

Senators office was a complete lack of help, too. The woman just e-mailed some dude asking about our case and he said "it takes 10-20 days for the card to be received" on the 20th day after sending it. She sent me the copy of the e-mail like that helps.

And nothing on our AOS for some time (except one touch to change the address back to the way it should be after their screw up). It took 60 days to go from "transferred" to "pending" and now it's back to "transferred to CSC" again. #######? How can you transfer it to your own office??

So frustrating.

Cellarlily, I cannot begin to imagine your frustration. I too have been waiting just a little less time than you for my AOS (with very little action) but at least I have my EAD in hand. It's hard when you can't even book an info pass to see what's up. I'm sorry.

Thanks for updating the list WifeOfHunkyJohn, I have been busy taking classes and getting classes ready to teach so haven't been around that much. Sorry to hear about your RFE that is on the way. Prolly for that damn medical like everyone seems to be getting these days.

I got an email saying my response to my daughter's RFE was received, yes the medical, again. And her case has been touched both days since that, so here's hoping she will get her card soon! Although I am now expecting the twits to send an RFE for this year's tax transcript since it has been so long since filing, nearly a year!!!
