got a letter from mail re biometrics appointment on June 1st (its my birthday btw :D )???I already had it 2 mos. ago..not sure why do I need another one, Ive seen some people did the biometrics twice, but I just wanna know the reason for this...anybody know?sorry if it had been answered already....ill appreciate any insight..

My EAD was approved, yay! Update the list if you like. Now they can take as long as they want with the AOS ... I'm so happy to be able to go back to work!

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

I hope to be off this list very soon...with fingers crossed! I sent off my RFE docs they requested today, so hope for some progress this week or the next two! I don't like being on top of that list!

18th September 06 - Case (AOS) transfered to CSC on 9/14 (advised by mail)

4/6/10th October 06 - EAD touched!

11th October 06 - Email from USCIS - EAD Approved on 10/10! Card on the way!

16th October 06 - EAD card received!

16th October 06 - EAD Application email received confirming letter to be sent.

22nd February 07 - Email sent to USCIS requesting an update.

5th March 07 - Case touched! AOS is now "pending" at the CSC! Progress!

5th March 07 - Email from CSC confirming I am awaiting the results of the FBI name check.

27th April 07 - Email received. A notice requesting additional info has been mailed.

4th May 07 - RFE letter arrived.

21st May 07 - RFE docs returned to USCIS by mail.

6th June 07 - Email from CRIS saying RFE received and case processing has resumed!

26th June 07 - Phone call from a USCIS officer at the CSC in California asking for a copy of my I-94 by fax.

27th June 07 - InfoPass appointment at 745am.

12th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Green Card on order as of 8/11!

15th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Welcome Notice sent.

18th August 07 - Welcome Notice Received.

20th August 07 - GC received!

FYI....i got a call today from my senator's office....the girl had put in a request from them asking a update on my husbands case...they e-mailed her back and asked her not to inquire for another 180 days because they have been slamed with thousands of petitions....she said normaly they ask for 60 days...but they are really back logged....she then said she thinks they asked for that long just to be on the safe side...

so i hope that info helps everyone wondering about their case and when it will be aproved or touched

Why are you contacting your senator's office? You applied for AOS like 2 minutes ago. Am I missing something?

you know a thanks for the info would have been nice...you and that other person don't need to be rude to me....

and yes you did miss something....we got a e-mail saying the uscis tried to send us something in april...and we still had not gotten it and calling the uscis to figure out what was sent is like talking to the wall so i wanted answers and umm incase you missed it that is what the Senator's office is there for...to help...

hey nanny, its ur rights dont worry about him, u vote for him cuz he will help u, thats his job, if he is busy in other important stuff, he will hire more people to take care of ur job,,,,THATS HIS JOBBB

oh yea i forget , AOS got touched 2day,

and for anyone that have problem, if i reached more than 80 days extra over my 100, am going call the senator too, and i already did with my k-1, my EAD, and would do it if that happen with my AOS tooo

and also HE HELPS!!!
