AOS touched here too which we get some good news sooon, am already happy with my work authorization

but which that i finsh the pain of waiting, i know am always asking for more! :D

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Feb 25, 26 & 28 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office, then to my local office, and then just transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

TOTALLY off topic, but there was a guy I used to work with who had the same problem as me.... a victim of absolutely-horrible-songs-getting-stuck-in-your-head syndrome. He used to stick his head in my office and sing, whistle, or hum really annoying songs or television theme music and such, then duck back out again. I'd be sitting there HOURS later with them swirling ENDLESSLY in my head until I was about ready to scream. But I used to do the same back to him so it was all good. I really miss that guy. :lol:

:lol: Evil!!! My husband does that all the time. It's generally in the morning and then I have the song stuck in my head all day.

I just spoke to a very nice lady at the CIS who said that they are currently reviewing documents submitted in october and if another 2 months go by without hearing that I should call back. So all those of you with earlier than october receipt dates it could be worth calling... if you've not done so already that is...... Good luck!

21 October 2006 - Married in the mountains of North Carolina!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
