HOORAY! HOORAY!! HOORAY!!! WHAT A GREAT AND BLESSED MARRIED LIFE AFTER TWO AND A HALF YEARS OF VISA WAITING!

Well, as the saying goes... "GOD seldom does great things in a hurry, so let us wait patiently. Patience means awaiting GOD's time without doubting GOD's love"... Now I believe GOD has rewarded my Loveydovey and me.

On March 20, 2007 (first day of Spring) marks my 159th day of warmth, good cheer and happiness here in North Carolina. I just received my Permanent Resident Card in the mail. No errors, which is a relief, but as I mentioned in another thread, it doesn't expire until 2017! It appears I skipped the conditional PR step somehow! Of course I'm going to have to call or email USCIS to make sure it's not a mistake. For those who have recently received their cards, does it state anywhere on the card that it is conditional, or does it just have a 2 year expiration?

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

The category is kind of hard to read, looks like IR 0. I'm going to assume I still have to remove conditions until I see or hear anything concrete that says otherwise.

28th May 06 - Arrive in Texas!

8th July 06 - Married!!!

3rd August 06 - EAD received at USCIS

29th August 06 - Biometrics

18th September 06 - Case (AOS) transfered to CSC on 9/14 (advised by mail)

4/6/10th October 06 - EAD touched!

11th October 06 - Email from USCIS - EAD Approved on 10/10! Card on the way!

16th October 06 - EAD card received!

16th October 06 - EAD Application email received confirming letter to be sent.

22nd February 07 - Email sent to USCIS requesting an update.

5th March 07 - Case touched! AOS is now "pending" at the CSC! Progress!

5th March 07 - Email from CSC confirming I am awaiting the results of the FBI name check.

27th April 07 - Email received. A notice requesting additional info has been mailed.

4th May 07 - RFE letter arrived.

21st May 07 - RFE docs returned to USCIS by mail.

6th June 07 - Email from CRIS saying RFE received and case processing has resumed!

26th June 07 - Phone call from a USCIS officer at the CSC in California asking for a copy of my I-94 by fax.

27th June 07 - InfoPass appointment at 745am.

12th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Green Card on order as of 8/11!

15th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Welcome Notice sent.

18th August 07 - Welcome Notice Received.

20th August 07 - GC received!

I was approved! :dance: I couldn't believe it! I saw the CRIS e-mail and I was sure it was an RFE, when I saw it was them saying they're mailing my welcome notice I almost fell off the chair, jumped on my husband, and cried like crazy!

I trully hope all the others waiting way longer than me get approved soon! My thoughts are with you!

August 28/06 Left NVC. . . Vancouver Bound!

September 27/06 Interview APPROVED, with visa in hand
