So sorry to hear that Karen. This waiting and watching has got to be the hardest thing I have ever done. I can't wait to get a job maybe that will help pass the time. Not that a 3 year old doesn't keep me busy. But with this being tax season and Mark a CPA you can image what life has been like here. I'm just counting the days until the end of April so it will calm down. I'm getting ready now to take my nursing exam to be licensed here. Hopefully by the end of April that will all be behind me. I think it's just the thought of doing it again that erks me more than the actual exam. Dang Alabama's nursing board. Why couldn't it have been one of the ones where all I had to do was send in my transcripts and prove of Licensure in Canada. Oh well, not like bending over backwards for goverment agencies isn't something we all here aren't use to by now.

Anywho that's my rant for today. No touches to be happy about so I'll fuss and fret instead. Hope something starts happening for you and Joel soon Karen.

Yay I got touched again today! After having no touches since september and then having my case "found" I've been touched pretty much every day since the 5th! Hopefully it'll mean an approval soon, I do hope all this touching isn't gonnna lead to another RFE though!

Karen, I'm sorry your case has been a while since it was last touched. I do hope it gets some action taken on it soon. I do believe I read somewhere that you had your senator look into and you're in namechecks, if so at least you are aware of what the hold up is and hopefully it'll be resolved properly.

I wasn't touched for almost 5 months, it was only when I had a service request done that the USCIS realised that although they "sent" the case to california, they actually had just filed it away in Lee's Summit MO at least now these touches mean at least it got there this time!!

16th October 06 - EAD card received!

16th October 06 - EAD Application email received confirming letter to be sent.

22nd February 07 - Email sent to USCIS requesting an update.

5th March 07 - Case touched! AOS is now "pending" at the CSC! Progress!

5th March 07 - Email from CSC confirming I am awaiting the results of the FBI name check.

27th April 07 - Email received. A notice requesting additional info has been mailed.

4th May 07 - RFE letter arrived.

21st May 07 - RFE docs returned to USCIS by mail.

6th June 07 - Email from CRIS saying RFE received and case processing has resumed!

26th June 07 - Phone call from a USCIS officer at the CSC in California asking for a copy of my I-94 by fax.

27th June 07 - InfoPass appointment at 745am.

12th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Green Card on order as of 8/11!

15th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Welcome Notice sent.

18th August 07 - Welcome Notice Received.

20th August 07 - GC received!

I just got my approval email this morning too!!!! I can finally move from the red list to the blue list! Congrats to Katie, and good luck to those of you waiting, especially those who have been waiting longer than me! For those of you who are constantly watching the USCIS site for updates, here's a brief synopsis of what I saw with my case.

I had no touches from 10-16 (transfer notice) until 1-15 (no change in status). I then got a touch on 2-14 (case received at CSC) and 2-15. Another couple touches on 3-04 and 3-05, and again yesterday 3-13. Today, before I could check, there were those three identical emails in my inbox that I have been waiting for!
