18th September 06 - Case (AOS) transfered to CSC on 9/14 (advised by mail)

4/6/10th October 06 - EAD touched!

11th October 06 - Email from USCIS - EAD Approved on 10/10! Card on the way!

16th October 06 - EAD card received!

16th October 06 - EAD Application email received confirming letter to be sent.

22nd February 07 - Email sent to USCIS requesting an update.

5th March 07 - Case touched! AOS is now "pending" at the CSC! Progress!

5th March 07 - Email from CSC confirming I am awaiting the results of the FBI name check.

27th April 07 - Email received. A notice requesting additional info has been mailed.

4th May 07 - RFE letter arrived.

21st May 07 - RFE docs returned to USCIS by mail.

6th June 07 - Email from CRIS saying RFE received and case processing has resumed!

26th June 07 - Phone call from a USCIS officer at the CSC in California asking for a copy of my I-94 by fax.

27th June 07 - InfoPass appointment at 745am.

12th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Green Card on order as of 8/11!

ooo me too, I just checked when I read your post. I open the case message with one eye convinced Im going to see a RFE email...but nope, no message change. PHEW.

Im having this fantasy that they are getting everything ready for approval after my biometrics tomorrow as it took a bit longer than normal to get a bio date. I was transferred before having it done. ..

ahh its nice to dream. :yes:

Just wondering if anyone has enquired as to the criteria that has USCIS transfer the file to CSC? I mean, is it based on country of immigrant? Age? Quality/Quantity of materials filed! Is there some common denominator?

I'm just curious if there is anything I can do to speed the process up! :idea:

I heard that it's if your case is convincing or solid enough that they don't feel the need to interview to find out more information. This doesn't mean that those who do get interviewed have a poor case, just that whoever's reviewing it might want to check it out.

Another idea was that some places are too busy and back logged that they send a load of files to the CSC for quicker processing. These would be the well prepared cases where the applicants have provided enough evidence.

Just my opinion. I would be interested in anyone elses thoughts.

There doesn't appear to be any set guidelines on who qualifies to be sent to CSC and who does not. You can send an email/letter and ask to:

I found this which was quite interesting as it is the CSC Guidelines for 2003. How much of it is still accurate in 2007 is anybody's guess but there you go. It also has a string of fax numbers and email addresses for anybody bored enough to see if they still work and if any accurate information can be gleaned from them.

My husband got his green card in the mail today (yay!), so it's all official. I was really worried about a last-minute foul-up, but CSC pulled through this time. :)

I don't plan to disappear anytime soon, and I hope to see lots more approvals around here soon.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.
