So CSC hasn't even looked at my case in the last 90 days, despite a request last May from Boston that they merge my files. Sigh. Apparently my biometrics are under one of the A#s (the one on my EAD) and the rest of my AOS paperwork is under the other one (the one on my AP) so nothing can happen until they're merged and currently both files are in storage(!!) The officer I spoke with even tried calling CSC while I waited, but they didn't answer. He left a voice mail and hopes they call back by tomorrow but he didn't sound terribly hopeful (actually he sounded really really annoyed with CSC, just like the officer I spoke with in May...)

Once again, I'm to schedule another appointment in 90 days if I still haven't heard anything at that time. Sigh. At least the officers at the Boston office have been very nice and sympathetic...

I hate CSC.

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On September 12, 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

So even though we are still in the waiting game, the finish line is in sight.

Not liking the fact that there are more names on the waiting list than on the approved list. Based on these numbers, CSC has a 31% approval rate over a 12 month period. :o

Just to mince things a bit but that is only for the people who have added themselves to the list and VJ is a very small number compared to how many applications are processed by CSC.
