Hello all,

I filled the first phase papers for my wife on June 22 and it is still showing on initial review. Is this normal? should i do anything, I mean, can i call some one in the service center to ask about it. One of my friend filled on the same week and she already got the approved letter like 2 weeks ago.

And just to clear up your first question about initial review. It means nothing. Don't expect it to change. It will more than likely stay that way until it changes to approved where u will get your text message and emails. Sometimes people do get what we call "a touch" . That can mean anything someone looking at your file, your file moved from one shelf to another who knows. You will go mad looking at that uscis websiteClockWatch2.gif. But trust me wink wink we all do. We are like a moth to a flame watching that paint dry there. just hang on good news will come.eb0dfafc.gif

I think, look like that's what happened? I had a question when they accepted the file. so probably they put in the wrong shelf :( after they answered my question.
