Like I said before. This is bs and just a way to control how fast the visa get issued. Control the interviews you control the visas. When I logged into the embassy in Manila and looked at the the available days for IR5 interviews there was at least 20 different days open to chose from. But we can't do it because the NVC has control. This is stupid a US citizen has to wait to get a interview for parents but non immigrants can chose a interview day just buy going on line. We have to wait and they don't. They charge such big amounts for these visa and just don't give a ####### on the families that have to wait to be together.

There is absolutely nothing that surprises me anymore when the govt is involved. This is the third different time I have been involved with petitions for various family members, and no, I am not better off now. Never had any trouble before getting a darn interview scheduled.

My case is complete since August 7th and haven't heard anything yet... I called today and they just told me to wait, no idea when they'll schedule anything.

I know other people that had their case complete in August too, and no interview either... Lawyer told to expect something on September 14th.

I'm going insane! :bonk:

I am assuming he's implying that NVC must notify the beneficiary at least 15 days prior to the interview date which gives beneficiary enough time to complete pre-interview processes.

So if someones interview is scheduled on 1st of Oct they should receive the notification from NVC by 17th of Sept.

yes i want to say this..

My case was completed on July 31. Nothing yet. I am getting tired of checking my email every minute. I thought my spouse would be here with me by now. It is really a shame that is not happening.
