@dhr and sravan,

Very confused about the process of submitting documents. Please see this post by another member http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/382843-us-consulate-in-mumbai/page__st__45

VFS previously said what dhr has mentioned. However, I am a bit reluctant to submit the medical to them, you get only one copy of that and if vfs loses that..we will get tough time. I guess we can just walk in with the medical with us. Remaining copies can be submitted to the vfs. Guys, please share your thoughts..

07/31/2012 Booked Medical in London for 13th August

08/13/2012 Medical completed (Need a letter from my doctor regarding a recent operation but no real problems)

08/15/2012 RFE from NVC for husbands 2011 tax returns, silly omission :(

on this website http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ document drop off location is same as vfs address for ahmedabad and ofc is at bombay...and they said u can also contact vfs...vfs may be working also after 26sept...so will contact vfs to solve this prob...

just got profile regostration confirmation ...and i called to vfs ...they denied to receive documents and medical they said to submit it to consulate when go for interview .....some confusion as per new processing system at mumbai consulate about offsite facility centre...

my case was completed on 29july....still waiting for interview...hope will hear some good news..

how many petitions do you have? if you have more than one petition you have to wait for other petitions to be approved.
