We have not received any emails for

My wife's parents yet but called and got the interview date. I have seen a few people on VJ that never received a email. Will we have issues writing the medical and interview because we don't have the interview letter

Your wife's parents need the appointment letter to get into St. Luke's and the US Embassy. You'll get it in a few days. Watch out for it.

Oh really??? I heard many people did their medical exam even before their interview was scheduled.

Lots of people try to get in even without an appointment. I'm sure some of them succeeds. It's too crowded in there. Hard to keep track.

What should I bring to my medical examination?

  • Appointment letter sent by the National Visa Center or an e-mail confirmation from the Visa Information and Appointment Service.
  • Appropriate medical examination fee.
  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Three color pictures (2 inches x 2 inches) with a white background(two are for the visa and one is for the medical report).

Any Brazilians with an interview in October? It seems they didn't schedule anyone in Brazil yet, but I'm not sure... Does anyone know if they schedule people in the order that the cases get completed at NVC? Mine was complete on August 8th and I know that people that had their cases complete in July already had their interviews scheduled for September. So I'm next, right?

It looks like they usually schedule in order and logic would say that they do, however logic and this process doesn't always go hand in hand. If they haven't already scheduled you, they probably will by early next week.
