Congratulations again and thank you for the details. Let me ask you something did they just give you the I-551 stamp or did you ask for it. And if you ask for it what did you say? Thanks because a lot of people ask that question here on VJ. So that I can advice them in the future.

I actually forgot about the stamp for a time at the interview, once I seen the I-94 coming out of the passport I thought this was a good sign... my mind was stuck there.. then the interviewer left at the end of the interview and came back with a box, out of the box came a brand new “Temporary I-551 Stamp” which was used to stamp my passport. I never did ask for it to be stamped, nor did they request my EAD card..

Thanks, we both did worry quite a bit about my having a past juvenile criminal record at the K-1 interview. It apparently wasn’t anything to worry about at the AOS interview as I was a juvenile at the time.

mmm.. a few Guinness wouldn’t be bad right now…
