I learned of something new in August, whilst participating in the monthly NVC thread there.

Apparently, if you include 'Supervisory Review' in the subject of the email, the first bits, it'll get reviewed by a supervisor same day.

So, I'm suggesting an experiment.

Include that, 'Supervisory Review' on

--OPT IN EMAIL

--AOS EMAIL

--IV EMAIL

and let us know the turn around time.

August OPT IN turn-around time was abysmal, where July was almost same-day; August went on for up to 3 weeks between emailing the OPT IN and actually getting the GZO # assigned.

Thanks for reading !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hey Darnell.....are you referring to something that is ONLY available to electronic processing countries?

Because you just confused me so much and I read this 3 times.

Oh..ok I see now. I am an idiot.

I see now the EP in your subject line

My wife just got her visa approved today and we are celebrating now in Guangzhou.

Before I forgot, I am going to write a summary in the forum.

Regarding this OPTIN, my personal experience is I followed the EP guide to send in the OPTIN email with 3032 attached, and after 14 days wait, the 3032 was still not "detached". I had to call the NVC and ask a supervisor to process my 3032. At that time I asked that supervisor what was the "right way" to send in 3032, he said 3032 sent to NVCInquery should be processed normally. Thus it seems OPTIN email and 3032 could be done in 2 seperate emails.
