Approved for K1 Visa Application. Fiance in Jamaica received his DS Packet. He was working in Canada on a work visa (JA Farm Program) and just returned this week. We are now a few weeks past the "Approval Date" of my application (Aug 12, 2012). I have heard conflicting information on how this can affect our process. My fiance is going to send in his DS230 Part 1 in hopes of getting the interview letter. Anyone had experience with processing past the date? He also wants to go in person to turn in the form and provide proof of his work and return date but not sure if he can talk w/anyone without an appointment. Or should he just mail it in and hope that it will just stay in process for discussion at the interview if at all? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bless
