Where did you interview, and what are your application etc dates?

I ask because it's my understanding that they are no longer scheduling initerviews unless the namechecks are back. Google 'writ of mandimus n-400' for more information.

120 days from the date of your interview for citizenship, you can file a writ of mandamus and you will win.

You could also join American Families United, which is lobbying on this issue (the more members, the stronger our voice):

Or sign up on the name check tracker group:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/namechecktracker/

(just so you know, I'm a co-founder and director of American Families United, and I'm the active moderator of namechecktracker).

Thanks so much for that. I actually have never logged on to BritishExpats before. I posted a message about American Families United here:

I don't know if there is any way to make this a sticky post (I see an article posted by you earlier was made sticky on that board), but if so, we would sure like to let people know about people know about us. We were formed out of neccessity. It's safe to say that all of the big players in Washington in the immigration debate are really focused on employment, and have been for the last 10 to 15 years at least.

Thanks again,

Randall
