yay Cathy, good for you!

My actual welcome letter didnt say anything about ADIT processing (although the email did, like yours). And today I got the email saying the card is in the post, so presumably if you dont have to respond to the ADIT thing they will post your card.

Congrats guys!

L.

I'm guessing the ADIT thing is just another example of a new confusing language they added when they modified the standard wording of the case status online. It would certainly be nice if they provided a glossary to explain what the jargon meant when they started throwing it about.

Even a search on Google hasn't thrown up what ADIT actually means, apart from its something to do with visas.

Congrats to you all..................I've been out of town for almost a week and came back to all this good news. I'm really happy for you guys. I haven't been touched since Nov 11th, but I'm hoping something will happen before Christmas. I'm happy though cause it seems like the B'more office is finally catching up.

Yahooo! CONGATULATIONS , CATHY!

At least, no worries anymore!

I am still waiting for whatever results would be for my AOS! At least, they are reviewing receipts dated May 2006. The most I expect a notice or whatever would be by December or January. For now, I would like to stay focus on work and yes the holidays!

Congratulations everyone!

Janice

BTW - I got the welcome letter in the mail and there was nothing about ADIT on it.

Its pretty funny reading though.

"Welcome to the United States": I've been here almost 8 years!

Also they manage to refer to themselves as both INS and BCIS in the letter! Nice.

I got a second touch on Nov 29th after our approval interview 8/11. This time, both 485 and 130 were touched.

I called INS on Nov 28th to ask why it took so long after our interview got approved by the officer. And the telephone operator ( oh I should say so called "one of the representative) explained that your case is still pending, never got approved unless the officer gave you the stamp on your passport. The officer must have lied about the approval then. So maybe, the touch I recevied next day is by this operator looked into my case while talking on the phone? I am a little comfused.

Maraming Salamat, Rebelheart!

There are two offices working on my AOS, the Portland district and now MSC. Both sent different messages regarding updates. I am still positive, by January, I get to see our CPR! That would be awesome!

Besides when it comes to immigration processes, I use maximum patience! :-)

God Bless!
