Yep, it is official that they have lost my biometric. I received a letter stating that I need to show up for a biometric appointment in 2 weeks For the third time...stupid immigration. Hope I don't have to wait long hours to get them done AGAIN! How stupid are they to lose it? I still can't belive this :(

Does your letter say the prints are lost?

I've read cases here where sometimes they have difficulty obtaining a clear print.

Nope, it doesn't say anything about losing my biometric...it is just the same as the letter I got for the first time.

Were you told the first time that the prints were lost? I wouldn't assume that they were unless told so. It's more likely the prints are unreadable or they are trying to clear a near-match.

At the infopass, they couldn't find my biometric information in thier system and they even asked me if I ever went to get it done. So they couldn't figure out whether or not they lost it when I was at the local office. But they told me if they could find my biometric info, I would receive my green card, if not, I would receive a letter for my biometric. So I received the letter instead of my green card. I guess this means they lost my biometric.

I'm almost sad about it because I'd got so close to actually booking the Infopass I'd started making a shopping list for stopping off at the Trader Joe's that's on the way home from Philly! ;)
