Hi all,

I just got an email saying that my petition has transfered to my local office Vermont Service Center where I originally sent I-130 Petition for Alein Spouse. It also said in email "Our office in VERMONT SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete." What does it mean? Aren't they suppose to approve my petition? Any advice is highly appriciated. Thanks

This is the 2nd post I've seen recently about the NBC transferring an I-129f for spouse to the VSC. (And maybe there's been more that I haven't seen.) Perhaps someone at the NBC is making mistakes, or perhaps it's another USCIS move to try to improve processing. Time will tell.

In the last two weeks I've seen more than 5 of these. I was the first one and was very nervous, but I received confirmation in the mail saying that it was being transferred "for faster processing." I only hope it's true :)
