I don't think to many people read the hotel post so I'm posting a new request to find a good place for my wife's parents to stay. It would be great to see some current experiences with hotels, price, and if they have free food. Distance from St Luke's and the US embassy would be great because we will book them 2 different hotels.

Quality wise Paragon Tower Hotel is Great, I am currently staying here. been here since Aug.28 till Sept.6, The rooms are BIG, comfy and clean, Bathroom w/ Tub, I have booked Through Agoda.com my booking got no free food, but when you go down by the grocery there are food stalls like Roasted Chicken, Buko Shake/Juice, Rice Toppings/Shawarma and a Seafood resto within the area. SLEC is super near like half block away from the hotel, or like 20-30steps away.

If you like Budget wise. then Hotel Soriente is Good. they got Big Rooms as well, I suppose to book it before but got fully booked. its just beside Paragon Tower Hotel, you can also check their rates at agoda.com

In regards about food, Robinsons mall is just a couple of blocks away. so sometimes me and daughter go there to buy TO-GO food for Lunch and Dinner, by the Robinson Supermarket there are Food stalls, freshly cooked, healthy foods, Breads, rice toppings. with reasonable price.

wanted to add up, if you need laundry service, just go across SLEC there is this BUBBLIES Laundry Shop, for Wash-DRY-Press Service its only Php60/Kilo, which I find cheap, and the quality is great as well. clean, free of stains and smells good(according to my lil girl) you can pick it up on the next day or have them deliver in your room.

I honestly liked Pearl Lane Hotel in malate, right across a sushi place and walking distance to the awesome robinsons mall.

Pearl lane is nice and clean. If you get bored you just walk up to robinsons mall. The distance to the embassy is probably 30 minutes and distance to St Lukes probably less.
