I was told that a K-1 can take 3-6 months is this true ?

I need to know the likely-hood of it being done in three months please.

If I go stay with him an wait an it comes b4 my return flight how hard is it to change the flight ?

would it be better if I just stay here an try an cope ?

My 19 yr old son thinks I should go but only so he can have the house to party every night lol

I really need some advice PLEASE

6 and 9 more likely.

You filed in the middle of August. You are currently waiting on petition approval that is taking 3-6 months. Once you have petition approval (NOA2) your file is sent to your home country where you do a police check, medical and then interview. This part depends on your country but can take around 3 months alone. You're unlikely to get your visa this year. I'd say petition approval around 5 months make it January just to get your NOA2. Maybe you'll get your visa about April-ish next year... possibly longer.

So no. You will NOT get your visa while you are with him. You're unlikely to get your NOA2 while there either. I'd return to your country on schedule

No. It's a very bold, blatant, outright LIE.

Figure 7 to 9 months, from NOA-1 date to Interview Date in London.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

If your concern is only your return flight, you need to know that he doesn't have to leave the country the day he gets the visa. He has almost 6 months after issue before he has to use it. He could return with you, but you probably will be home before he gets the visa as others have explained.
