Hi VJ family,

Currently completing the i-130 and Q.9 calls for SSN. My husband the petitioner US citizen has entered his.I am Irish butI also have a SSN from a J1 visa I held 2002-2004 should I record this as my SSN ?

I have been reading that a SSN is for life therefore I presume that I should put it down but am unsure and I really do not want the form returned for this?

Opinion greatly appreciated..... :help:

No opinion here, just fact. The SSN you were given when you had the J1 is for life; write it down on any form that asks for it.

My wife has an SSN for the same reason from when she was in the states.

I used that SSN on all documentation filed for the I130.
