Dear friends,

I am Ela, I live in Romania.....my dear fiance lives is USA, he asked me, i said Yessssssssssss and we started all the proecedure.....on march 26 we had NOA 1 and no word evr since.....Is somebody knowing or living the same situation or our destiny is plaing with us? happy for everybody who already had an answer!!!! And thank you for your future reply!!

Unfortunately it looks like Vermont is slow at the moment... from what I have been reading they are still working on February filers..Just hold on your time will come just be patient and God Bless.....

Yes it can take this long. The wait is difficult.

On a side note, if you fill out your timeline with your correct information (i.e. processing center, date filed, date of NOA1, what you are filing for, etc...), you will get an approximation date based on timelines similar to yours. It is such a wonderful benefit here on VJ.

Good luck and don't let yourself get to down during this wait.

hi Ela good day to you Carmela here. I live in the Philippines my fiancee is an American and we are in the same boat too. My fiancee filed last May 30 and rec our NOA1 in the mid of June if im not wrong, now we are still waiting our NOA2 which i hope it come soon as we want to celebrate Christmas together for the first time and i never see my fiancee in person we back August last year.Its kinda miss but thanks to skype we could talk everyday.I know of how you feel right now as feel it too, as what fiancee said its kinda stuck of waiting but what i did is to be positive always.I know we are ok just got have a little bit of waiting and it come soon. Thank u for ur encouragements, its a little difficult as we cant make plans, we are just waiting and waiting and its a little frustrating having things out of our control...lets hope soon we all will have news, good news!

i think you're still in the time limit. if you reach 6 months and don't hear anything contact them asap. but as far as i see with other filers this year many of them waited more than last year so nothing goes steady at vermont. i wish you luck hope you get it fast. this is the most annoying part for sure
