Questions about travelling on AP

I have a few queries about travelling back into the US tomorrow on my AP card. I tried to check in online and as expected they asked me if I had a valid ESTA or visa, I have neither so selected other. After selecting other of course they wouldn't let me check in. No big deal, but I guess I am wondering what is my official status on how I will be entering the US? I'm not technically a resident but I live there. I am bringing my notice to say I am adjusting status and also my marriage certificate.

Also should I still have a valid esta at this time? My last one expired in August.

Any insight would be much appreciated!

My wife entered last month on her AP. Fill out an I-94 and go through the resident line and show them your passport and AP card. You'll likely have to go to secondary where they will parole you in. They will staple the new I-94 into your passport and give you a paroled stamp instead of an entry stamp and it's good for a year.

Nothing to it...have a good safe flight.

Edit~ I didn't really answer your question did I? Status is AOS pending, you don't need ESTA.

You do not need a new ESTA. Traveling on AP is a rather rare scenario, so I am not sure that the online check-in from the airline has that in their coding. I would check-in at the counter, personally, though it's more inconvenient. Your status is AOS-pending with approved travel document (which, as you can guess isn't really a "thing"). You will be entering on your AP.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Great! If I can go through the resident line that would be awesome. Flying into Orlando with all the British holiday makers, I'm sure immigration gets very backed up there!!

Thanks for the information.
