We live in border towns so we go back and forth regularly.

I have a couple questions and am unsure where to find them.

After Visa is granted, does the first time my beneficiary crosses--does he have to use that as his POE and bring all of his belongings?

That first time does he have to bring ALL of his belongings? Or can he bring some of them later?

Anyone know where I can find this sort of information?

The first entrance will be his POE. But he will be getting his greencard soon after then he can come and go as he pleases. He can bring as much or as little as he needs.

If you are doing the cr-1 visa, he will have a i551 stamp that serves as a 1 year Temp green card until the real one arrives. He can travel back and forth from the moment he uses it until he gets the actual card.

I used mine then traveled back the same day after doing some shopping in NY and moved all my stuff the next day.

He does not have to bring all his belongs the day he uses it, he can bring his belongs over a period of a year I believe.

Hope that helps
