The First US City you land in is your POE{Point of Entry). It is that Airport you will go through US Immigration and on to your next Flight or Final Destination.

Great, thanks! We'll try to get PAL, MNL-LAX. I know it will be extra bucks but less worries for me. We could just get hotel in Anaheim, stay overnight and go to the Happiest Place on Earth in the morning!

we decided to take another route. I love to see Hawaii, but I said I'll enjoy it more if he's with me. Now, I'm flying MNL-NRT-SFO. There's a 4 hours lay over in Tokyo. But I'd rather have plenty of time than be out of time. I don't want to risk it since I haven't been to Hawaii and I am not familiar of the airport yet. Plus i have 2 baggage with me plus carry on. lol. You know women!! thanks all for the inputs! I will be leaving this Friday morning. I'm just praying for my safe trip now.

We flew Hawaiian airlines, POE was Honolulu which was very easy and quick when we went through. We flew Manila direct to Honolulu with a little over 3 hour layover which is adequate for getting through Immigration and Customs, then checking your bags back in for the continuing flight.

Immigrations counters are to the far left as you enter, after going clearing customs there is a baggage check to at the left end of the room, at least for those flying Hawaiian.

Thanks for this Info.. I will be flying with Hawaiian Airlines too and POE is Honolulu... Hawaiian Airlines is way cheaper than PAL.
