You want to stay in the UK for 6 months? I think it depends on who stamps you in. My husband got stamped in for 3 months and 6 months on different visits.I could be wrong though about who stamps you in. The wait sucks but it will be so worth it in the end. Keep your chin up :)

All you need is your passport. You can enter for 6 months but they might take you to secondary since it is a long stay. You would need to take proof that you plan to leave and proof that you are currently in the visa process for your fiance to come to the US. It is a lot easier to come over for 3 months.

07-26-2012 : NOA2 (69 days)

08-10-2012 : LND Case number received. Letter dated 08-07-2012
08-15-2012 : DS-230 and DS-2001 mailed to Embassy
